Installation Qualification Protocol for Explosion-Proof HVAC System
Objective: To establish and document the Installation Qualification (IQ) of the Explosion-Proof HVAC System to ensure it meets the requirements for controlling environmental conditions safely in the production area for Transdermal Patches.
Scope: This protocol applies to the Installation Qualification of the Explosion-Proof HVAC System utilized in the production area for Transdermal Patches, focusing on its capability to maintain controlled environmental conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Validation Team: Responsible for executing the IQ protocol and documenting results.
- Quality Assurance: Responsible for reviewing and approving the IQ protocol and results.
- Engineering Team: Responsible for installation and maintenance of the HVAC system.
Prerequisites:
- Installation of the Explosion-Proof HVAC System is complete.
- All relevant documentation for the HVAC system is available.
- Personnel have been trained on the operation of the HVAC system.
Equipment Description: The Explosion-Proof HVAC System is designed to control environmental conditions, ensuring safety and compliance in the production area of Transdermal Patches. It includes features for temperature, relative humidity (RH), and pressure control.
| Test ID | Procedure | Acceptance Criteria | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| IQ-001 | Verify installation against manufacturer specifications. | All components installed as per specifications. | Installation checklist signed off by Engineering. |
| IQ-002 | Check functionality of temperature controls. | Temperature maintained within specified range. | Audit trail logs demonstrating temperature control. |
| IQ-003 | Check functionality of RH controls. | RH maintained within specified range. | Audit trail logs demonstrating RH control. |
| IQ-004 | Check functionality of pressure controls. | Pressure maintained within specified range. | Audit trail logs demonstrating pressure control. |
Detailed Test Cases:
- Test Case IQ-001: Verify that all components of the HVAC system are installed as per the manufacturer’s specifications. Record any discrepancies.
- Test Case IQ-002: Monitor temperature settings over a 24-hour period to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria. Document any deviations.
- Test Case IQ-003: Monitor RH settings over a 24-hour period to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria. Document any deviations.
- Test Case IQ-004: Monitor pressure settings over a 24-hour period to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria. Document any deviations.
Deviations: Any deviations from the acceptance criteria must be documented, along with the root cause analysis and corrective actions taken.
