Objective

The objective of this Installation Qualification (IQ) Protocol is to verify that the Bin Lifter / IBC Lifter is installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and is suitable for its intended use in the handling and docking of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs).

Scope

This protocol applies to the Bin Lifter / IBC Lifter used in the Production/Material Handling area for indirect product impact. It includes the verification of critical parameters such as load capacity and docking alignment.

Responsibilities

The following personnel are responsible for the execution and approval of this protocol:

  • Validation Engineer: Responsible for protocol execution and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Responsible for review and approval of the protocol.
  • Maintenance Personnel: Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the equipment.

Prerequisites

  • Installation of Bin Lifter / IBC Lifter completed.
  • All relevant documentation (manuals, URS) available for reference.
  • Personnel trained on the operation of the equipment.

Equipment Description

The Bin Lifter / IBC Lifter is designed for the safe handling and docking of Intermediate Bulk Containers. It provides a load capacity sufficient for standard IBCs and ensures proper alignment during docking.

Test Plan

Test ID Procedure Acceptance Criteria Evidence
IQ-01 Verify load capacity by applying maximum load. Load capacity meets manufacturer specifications. Load test report.
IQ-02 Check docking alignment with IBC. Docks correctly without misalignment. Visual inspection report.
