Objective
The objective of this protocol is to establish and document the Performance Qualification (PQ) of the Coding Machine used for printing batch and expiry information on Nasal and Otic products, ensuring the equipment operates within specified limits and meets regulatory requirements.
Scope
This protocol applies to the Coding Machine (Inkjet/Laser) utilized in the Packaging area for printing on Nasal and Otic products, both sterile and non-sterile. The protocol encompasses the validation of critical parameters affecting product quality.
Responsibilities
- Validation Team: Responsible for executing the PQ protocol and documenting results.
- Quality Assurance: Responsible for reviewing and approving the PQ documentation.
- Operations: Responsible for ensuring the equipment is maintained and operated according to SOPs.
Prerequisites
- Completion of Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ).
- Training of personnel on the operation of the Coding Machine.
- Availability of necessary materials and resources for testing.
