Installation Qualification Protocol for Ultrasonicator in NDDS Applications

Objective: To ensure that the Ultrasonicator is installed correctly and operates according to the specified requirements for size reduction and dispersion of liposomes and lipid nanoparticles.

Scope: This protocol applies to the Installation Qualification of the Ultrasonicator used in the R&D and Production areas for NDDS applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Validation Team: Responsible for executing the IQ protocol and documenting results.
  • Quality Assurance: Responsible for reviewing and approving the IQ documentation.
  • Maintenance Team: Responsible for ensuring that the equipment is maintained according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Prerequisites:

  • Completion of equipment installation by qualified personnel.
  • Availability of necessary documentation (URS, equipment manual).
  • Training of personnel on equipment operation.
